These classes are for Doctors and Students of Chiropractic. Classes are personalized for your group, and may be
taught at a location of your selection.
A typical schedule is:
FRI night 6:00p to 10:00p
SAT morning 8:00a to 5:00p (with 1 hour lunch)
A class can consist of 10 to 20 doctors and/or students and requires a massage table for every two participants.
We will provide comfortable space large enough to accommodate the number of tables with two chairs at each table.
Sheets, blankets, pillows, and bolsters are also useful.
Three levels of courses are available. All levels are primarily hands-on.
Level 1 (12 hours)
This is an introduction to the CranialMethodsTM including a brief history, anatomy review, and discussion of related principles. Participants learn the following:
-
To become still and centered to allow fullest awareness and perception of available information in the body and field of the patient.
-
How to come into relationship with this field of the body, to best facilitate healing. This is individualized to each client and session.
-
Palpation of various rhythms.
-
Discussion of cranial bones' range of motion.
The class is taught with Cranial and Sacral emphasis.
Level 2 (12 hours)
This is a continuation of Level 1. It begins with further review of anatomy including the membranous and nervous systems. We now integrate
the whole body from the feet up: lower extremities, hips and pelvis, spine, rib cage, shoulder girdles, upper extremities, neck and head.
The emphasis in Level 2 is on common whole-body distortional patterns, their release and integration.
Level 3 (12 hours)
This class is a continuation of Level 2. The emphasis in this class is on anatomy and treatment of the anterior neck,
face and mouth. Common distortional patterns will be discussed and treated.
Level 4 (12 hours)
This is an introduction to the care of newborns, infants, and toddlers. It includes:
-
A special review of anatomy with emphasis on cranial nerves
-
The importance of treatment to neurological growth and development
-
The most common distortional patterns in newborns
-
Presenting signs and symptoms
We will need to schedule live baby treatment times for the hands-on section of the class.
